Competing in electric wheelchair rugby, hockey and soccer, Brandreth not only won the Victorian best and fairest award, but also the national best and fairest for the seventh time.
The 35-year-old is a veteran of competing at the National Electric Wheelchair Sports, passing the 350-game milestone for Victoria during this year’s tournament, which was held in Narrabeen.
Brandreth was one of six members of the Victorian team, which won the hockey, came second in soccer and was fourth in rugby.
As for his strong performances personally, Brandreth says there’s no secret to his success – “it’s just practice… lots of practice.”
Brandreth earned his place in the Victorian team after playing for the Patriots in the Victorian Electric Wheelchair Sports Association at Croydon.
