Carter's quartet chase victory at Lord's Raceway

Four heats of the Debutant series and eight heats of a restricted win event over 425m make up this afternoons 12-race greyhound racing card at Lord’s Raceway.

Violet Town trainer Mick Carter has four runners engaged, with  Jimmy Lane arguably the best of the quartet in race seven.

A veteran of just four career starts resulting in two wins and a second,  Jimmy Lane has clocked flying 22.14 and 22.19 Shepparton victories after recording sizzling early sections and he looks set to lead all the way in heat three of the restricted win series.

Jimmy Lane’s main opposition is likely to come from last-start Warragul winner Mystic March, recent Bendigo winner Black Cardigan and Cuzin Bob.

The Tina Womann-trained Third Letter Are is another runner that looks to be a clear-cut favourite in race 11 after drawing box seven.

A winner on the track in 24.29, Third Letter Are is chasing a hat-trick of wins after scoring a 25.90 Geelong victory on September 27 and a 30.64 Meadows win on October 3.

Despite dropping back 100m in distance, Third Latter Are has genuine early pace and should lead.

La Porsche in box two is also chasing a hat-trick after Geelong and Ballarat wins, while  Connemara Sky from box one is another to watch.

Some well-bred youngsters will step out for the first time in the opening four races in the Debutant series, including several two runners out of the talented Amelia Bale who has already produced one of the best litters in recent memory that includes Bekim Bale, Irma Bale and Heston Bale.

The impeccably bred youngsters by Collision are Quando Bale in race three and Sachin Bale in race four.
