These works are mirrored in the polished bluestone floor and a striking shadow fills the clean white wall behind.
The relationship between Obbligato (the dress) and Spill (the painting) highlights the collaborative process behind the exhibition. One visitor remarked that the works “…speak to each other.”
The Dressmaker and the Painter closes this Sunday, 5pm.
An exhibition by Ryan Villamael is also in its last week. Unknown Land presents locals with a refreshing and perceptive view of their region through the traditional Filipino art form of paper-cutting.
