After all, clothes just wash themselves, meals just magically appear at the table and every family has a chauffeur to ferry everyone around – right?
However, on Friday – in the lead up to Mother’s Day – prep students at Camp Hill Primary School set out to show their mums just how special they are.
For one glorious hour in the afternoon, more than a dozen mums were able to take a break from their busy schedules and be pampered by their children.
The pupils – under the watchful eye of teacher Melissa Gleisner – turned their classroom into a veritable beauty parlour and set about with great gusto indulging their mums.
They painted their nails, did their hair, touched up their make-up, made them resplendent necklaces out of pasta and then settled back for a spot of afternoon tea.
