Howard won the Dragons’ club champion award in a canter with 1170 points – Liam Bowe was a distant second with 523 points – plus the first XI best and fairest, batting average and bowling average for a season in which he combined 480 runs and 41 wickets.
Among the highlights of the Dragons’ presentation night was David Hunter being award life membership.
Hunter has been instrumental in the club’s junior program for many years as the main driver of the Milo program, T20 Blast and under-12 teams.
