WHITE HILLS: A grey box trailer valued at $5000 was stolen from a business in Napier Street this week.
Sergeant Frank Peiffer said the trailer, registration U08-529, was stolen from the business’ back yard and a padlock had been cut away.
The theft occurred between 5pm on Tuesday and 10am on Thursday.
BENDIGO: Unknown offenders attempted to burgle a commercial property in Mitchell Street between 5pm on Tuesday and 1.30pm on Wednesday.
“They attempted to get in by removing a lock but they didn’t actually make it,” Sergeant Peiffer said.
In a separate incident, a bottle of Black Opium fragrance was stolen from a business in Hargreaves Street at 4.45pm on Wednesday.
KANGAROO FLAT: An unknown offender attempted to steal sports clothing valued at $504 from a business in High Street between 2.50pm and 3.15pm on Wednesday.
Sergeant Peiffer said police believed they would be able to identify the offender from CCTV footage.
JACKASS FLAT: A property in Callaghan Street was damaged between 8am and 6.30pm on Monday.
Sergeant Peiffer said the victim had returned home to find two rocks on her front porch.
“When she looked closer she could see the front door monitor had been smashed,” he said.
MALDON: A black laptop and briefcase valued at $710 were stolen from a vehicle on Tuesday.
The victim was unsure whether the items were stolen from the vehicle in Campbellfield in Melbourne during the day or overnight at an address in High Street, Maldon.
“It appeared the lock of the vehicle had been damaged on the driver’s side,” Sergeant Peiffer said.
KAMAROOKA: A yellow XF Falcon utility valued at $300 was stolen from a property in Cails Road last month.
The ute was not registered but bore the number plates QGC-319.
Sergeant Peiffer said it had not been driven for some time so the thieves would have likely needed a vehicle to remove it from the property and may have been stolen for parts.
CAMPBELLS FOREST: Hay valued at $250 was stolen from a rural property in Oswalds Road between April 4 and May 4.
