The Blues are the top ranked BASL team heading into the final round, but they must defeat Shepparton’s premier club Shepparton South on Sunday to have any chance of making the grand final.
Strathdale’s closest BASL rival, Epsom, hosts the winless Shepparton on Sunday and should collect the three points.
The Blues and Scorpions are both on 10 points, but Strathdale holds a two-goal lead on goal difference.
Shepparton South has already qualified for the men’s Inter-League Cup final as Shepparton’s top team on the ladder.
The other men’s games on Sunday are Colts United v Swan Hill, Eaglehawk v Tatura, Golden City v Shepparton United, Moama-Echuca v Kyabram.
The women’s final has been decided, with Epsom to play Shepparton United.
Epsom and Spring Gully have the bye in the final round and both teams will collect three points, resulting in the Scorpions advancing on goal difference.
