The theatre, along with Star Cinema and the Bendigo Art Gallery, is screening the 1959-film Some Like It Hot on May 14.
Starting at 7pm with a series of Marliyn-inspired cocktails, the movie will be screened at 8pm.
Some Like It Hot is a musical comedy that features Monroe alongside Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.
Lemmon and Curtis play two witnesses to a Mafia murder who disguise themselves as women in an all-female jazz band to escape.
In honour of Marilyn, people are encouraged to dress in their most fabulous 1950s or 1960s Hollywood-inspired outfit.
After the movie audiences will be able to sip champagne while dancing to the music of swing band Dean’s Martini.
Bookings are essential. Tickets are $30 and include pre- and post-screening entertainment and light finger food.
