Three murals have been painted as part of the school’s Arts/Science Festival.
In 2014, the theme of “amazing inventions” shone through in a surrealist sense with students focusing on the idea of where society would be without the imagination of artists, inventors and scientists.
Last year’s mural had a “past, present and future” theme.
Looking at how arts and science can combine, the students created a mural that can be discussed and was a stimulus for a creative writing exercise for English students.
This year the theme was nautical with the students' final panel showing how industrialisation has destroyed aspects of the marine world.
