The workshop is being staged as part of Vibrant Central - Bendigo’s Street Festival 2016 autumn edition.
Artists and novices are invited to drop in to the VAC any time between noon and 5pm and contribute (a little or a lot) to a collaborative collage embracing the theme of autumn in Bendigo.
Workshop participants will be guided in the production of leaf and bark rubbings and simple paper-cutting techniques.
These will then be combined in a collaborative artwork.
The VAC’s current exhibition, Unknown Land by Ryan Villamael, will help spark the imagination as visitors are inspired by his intricate and innovative use of traditional paper-cutting techniques.
All materials will be supplied, no experience is necessary and there is no need to register.
