The top ranked Bendigo-based club and leading Shepparton-based club at the completion of five rounds qualify for the Inter-League Cup final.

Both teams are unbeaten after three rounds. Strathdale holds a two-point lead over Epsom, while Shepparton South is five points in front of Kyabram.

Strathdale heads to Kyabram on Sunday, while Shepparton South can seal a final berth if it beats Echuca-Moama Border Raiders in Moama.

The Epsom Scorpions must win its visit to Tatura to keep pressure on Strathdale.

It’s a similar story for Strathfieldsaye-based Colts United, which sits one point further back on six points.

Colts are away to Shepparton United on Sunday.

BASL rivals Spring Gully United and Golden City clash at Stanley Avenue. The winner of this game will keep its finals hopes alive if Strathdale slips up against Kyabram.

In the women’s division, Epsom, Colts United, Spring Gully and Strathdale are locked on nine points with two rounds remaining.

Epsom is best placed to make the final because it has a goal difference of plus 30.

Shepparton United are two points clear of Shepparton South in the race for top position in the Shepparton-based clubs.

In Sunday's games, Spring Gully hosts Golden City, Colts United is away to Shepparton United, Moama-Echuca is at home to Shepparton South and Kyabram hosts Strathdale.

Epsom and Eaglehawk have the bye and will be awarded three points. 

The final round of matches will be played on Sunday, May 8.
