Well, Groovin the Moo is done for another year.

MOO-RNING UPDATE
10.30am – Gates at the 2016 Bendigo Groovin the Moo are now open.
Olympia will be the first act to take to the stage at 11am.
Bendigo Railway Station is a hive of activity as train after train of Groovin’ The Moo festival-goers pulls into the city.
The weather is grim, but people are excited to see their favourite bands perform.
Georgina White was one of the first people to yell out when The Bendigo Advertiser boarded a bus to gauge the vibe. Which, for the record, was great.
Bendigo police will be on the lookout for antisocial behaviour and will increase their patrols. So be good!

He talks all things GTM with the Cattle Crew representatives Shannon Brown and Maddy Kelly as well as interviewing and listening to Bendigo band Jack and the Kids.

GTM promoter Stephen Halpin said the festival will be firing in Bendigo on Saturday – rain, hail or shine.
“This is nothing, just a few drops to freshen the site,” he said.

KEY INFORMATION
There are plenty of ways to get to Groovin the Moo this weekend.
Follow this link for all the public transport information that will get you to the festival on time.
A shuttle bus from Bendigo Station and Mitchell Street will cost $2. It runs from 11.20am to 5.20pm, every 15 minutes to Bendigo Showground.
Police will have a visible presence at Groovin the Moo, along with all other emergency services.
Sergeant Tony Kekich said while the weather was not predicted to be hot, police encouraged festival-goers to stay well hydrated.
"We want everyone to have a good time, look out for each other, stay safe and drink plenty of water," he said.
"We will have a decent contingent at the festival to look after the welfare of festival-goers."
FESTIVAL’S LOCAL FLAVOUR
The music at this year’s Groovin the Moo will have a rich, crafty flavour as Bendigo Beer showcases local beers at the festival.
Bendigo’s Brookes Beer, Woodend’s Holgate Brewhouse, Tooborac Hotel and Brewery and Red Duck Beer from Ballarat will feature in the bar alongside Harcourt Cider.
Regional food vendors will also be on hand to feed hungry crowds with Brew 2 U Coffee, The Market Cafe, Pizza By The Slice, Esther’s Eats, Shish and Paella Pop Up all preparing food for the festival.
