Anzac Day 2016 service guide
Bendigo: Services in Bendigo will start with a march from the Soldiers Memorial Institute to the cenotaph at 5.50am, followed by the dawn service at 6am.
The main march will begin at 10.30am from the corner of McCrae Street and Pall Mall, with the service to begin at 11am on the forecourt of the Soldiers Memorial Institute.
Eaglehawk: The dawn service will start at 6am at Brassey Square.
The march will begin at 8.20am from the Eaglehawk Citizens’ Brass Band Hall and will end at Brassey Square, where the service will begin at 8.30am.
Kangaroo Flat: A stand-to will commence at 6.30am at the Soldiers Memorial in High Street, followed by a march at 9.20am from St Monica’s Church to the Soldiers Memorial.
This will be followed by a service at 9.30am.
Bridgewater: A service will be held at 6am at the Memorial Hall.
Huntly: A march and service will be held at 9am in the Garden of Remembrance.
Inglewood: A march from Brook Street to Monument in Grant Street will be held at 10.45am, followed by a service at 11am.
Maryborough: The dawn service will begin at 6am, followed by the march at 10.30am, leaving from Princes Park, opposite Nightingale Street.
Dunolly: The dawn service will commence at 6am outside the post office, with the march to assemble at the post office at 10.30am for an 11am ceremony.
Castlemaine: The dawn service will be held at the cenotaph at 5.50am.
The march will run from 9am from the town hall, followed by a service at the cenotaph at 9.20am.
Maldon: Commemorations will begin on Sunday, April 24 with a Kapyong Day service at Memorial Park at 10.45am, followed by a service at Anzac Hill at 5.45pm.
The Anzac Day dawn service will be held at 6am at Memorial Park, followed by a hospital service at 10.30am and the main service at Memorial Park at 10.45am.
Services will also be held at the old Nuggety School at 2pm and at Maldon Cemetery between 3pm and 4pm.
Harcourt: A service will be held at the Sutton Grange memorial at 11am.
Heathcote: The dawn service will be held at Camp Hill at 6am.
The morning service will begin at 10am at the hall, followed by a wreath laying service at the cenotaph and a march along High Street.
Calivil: The service will be held at 10.30am at the Calivil Hall.
Pyramid Hill: The service will be held at the Memorial Hall from 10.45am.
Tarnagulla: The service will begin at 10am at Soldiers Park.
Axedale: A barbecue breakfast will be held in Axedale Park at 8am ahead of the 9am service.
Elmore: The dawn service will be held at Railway Square at 6am, followed by breakfast at Memorial Hall.
The march will begin at 9.45am from Railway Place to finish at Memorial Hall before the 10am service.
Daylesford: The dawn service will be held at Daylesford War Memorial, starting at 6.30am.
The march will begin at 10.15am at the town hall and will finish at the war memorial.
Hepburn: The service will begin at 8.30am at the 10th Street Memorial Gates.
Eganstown: The service will begin in Old Main Road at 9am.
Bealiba: A service will be held at 11am.
Boort: The march will start at 9am from the post office, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at 9.15am and a service at Memorial Hall at 9.30am.
Korong Vale: The march from Korong Vale Hall will commence at 9am.
Wedderburn: The dawn service will begin at 6am at Jacka Park, followed by a march from the RSL at 10.30am.
Carisbrook: A service will be held at 11am.
Majorca: A service will be held at 9.45am.
Mologa: A memorial ceremony will be held at Joneses Lane at 8am.
Talbot: A service will be held at 9.30am at the corner of Scandinavian Crescent and Camp Street.
Rushworth: The dawn service will be held at the War Memorial at 6am.
The march will start at 10am from the post office and lead to the memorial, where there will be a wreath laying ceremony.
Stanhope: The service will be held on Sunday, April 24 at 2pm at McEwen Reserve.
Girgarre: The dawn service will be held at 5.50am at the cenotaph.
Kyabram: The march will assemble at 9.30am at the Memorial Gardens, where the service will also be held at 10am.
Tongala: A dawn service will be held at the RSL hall at 6.30am.
The march will begin at 10.30am from the RSL hall and will arrive at the town hall for the main service.
Following the service there will be a march back to the RSL hall for a wreath laying ceremony.
Kyneton: The dawn service will be held at the cenotaph at 6am, followed by a breakfast for a gold coin donation.
The march will be conducted on Mollison Street from 9.30am, with a ceremony to be held at the cenotaph at 10am.
Romsey: A wreath laying service will be held at the cenotaph at 7.30am.
Malmsbury: A ceremony will be held at Malmsbury Botanic Gardens at 8am.
Lancefield: A service will be held in High Street at 8.30am.
Gisborne: A ceremony will be held at 10.30am at the memorial on Howey Reserve.
Woodend: The march will be held at 11.15am on the High Street service road, followed by a service at Woodend RSL.
