Crocheted watermelon and potted cacti, handmade soaps and knitted rugs are among the locally-made products on sale in a pop-up shop in Bendigo.
Bendigo Makers’ Crib has partnered with Exhibit B to showcase the work of 18 local makers in an empty office space in the CBD for the next few weeks.
Among them is Simone Willis whose two-year-old company Coral & Herb makes concrete, hand-painted pot plants filled with succulents and cacti – mainly sold online.
“So it’s amazing to have people be able to come in and actually look at the pots, see them in person and pick them up,” Ms Willis said.
Bendigo Makers’ Crib founder Shona O'Brien said the products ranged averaged between $20 to $40.
Exhibit B is located at Shop 7 Fountain Court, Charing Cross and will be open to the public from this Wednesday 9 March operational hours are Wednesday – Thursday 10am – 4pm, Friday 10 am – 7pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am -4pm.
