Police say Samantha Kelly was first reported missing, by her brother, last Thursday.
Police strongly suspect Ms Kelly has met with foul play.
The 39-year-old missed her youngest child’s first birthday, police say.
Described as a prolific Facebook user, she hasn’t used social media, her phone or bank account since she went missing.
Homicide detectives say there are no suspects at this stage.
UPDATE Wednesday, 9am: The Victoria Police homicide squad will today continue investigations in Bendigo following the suspicious disappearance of Kangaroo Flat mother, Samantha Kelly.
Tuesday: Homicide Squad detectives are in Bendigo investigating the suspicious disappearance of Kangaroo Flat woman Samantha Kelly.
Samantha was last seen near the High Street shopping centre in Kangaroo Flat about 3.20pm on Wednesday, January 20.
There have been a number of unconfirmed sightings of the 39-year-old after this date, between January 20 and 23.
The disappearance of the mother of four is out of character and investigators want to hear from anyone who may be able to provide details of her whereabouts.
Detectives have released photos of Samantha in the hope it will assist the investigation.
