Primal Surfacing will be doing the works - which are due to run from February 22 to March 11.
Campaspe Shire spokesperson for roads, Cr Ian Maddison, said the project was one of the biggest in the shire’s budget.
“At $1.337 million, it is one of the larger projects to be completed,” he said.
“But it’s also an important one. By maintaining our roads, we are saving ratepayers from having to foot the bill for complete resurfacing in years to come.
"It’s a bit like repainting a house – if painted each year, the property is maintained and provides enjoyment instead of headaches in the years ahead.
Cr Maddison said the 198,000 square metres of works equated to about 31 kilometres of roads, plus asphalting of four roundabouts and a carpark.
"There will be some minor disruptions to traffic, but we will work to minimise this as much as possible,” he said.
