Liam Brown made 76 retired for the Jets and Jed Rodda 52 not out, while Ethan Hobson took 3-15 for Bendigo.
White Hills is on track to score a much-needed win over Maiden Gully.
The Demons bowled Gully out for 86, with Fletch Davey (2-4) and Sam Welch (2-17) the best with the ball. Mitch Van Poppel top scored for Maiden Gully with 23. White Hills will resume this Saturday at 1-11.
Bendigo United’s middle-order saved the day in its clash with Strathdale Blue.
The Redbacks lost three early wickets before Baily MacDonald (75 retired), Aden MacDonald (46) and Billy Quirk (33) batted strongly to lift the score to 6-246 off 50 overs. Angus Dickson and Josh Hamilton took two wickets each for Strathdale.
Seventh-placed Eaglehawk has the chance to upset top team Sandhurst. Jack Thompson’s 75 retired an Kallum Schepers’ 57 were the catalyst for the Hawks’ score of 7-185.
In under-12A action, Bayden Hunter made an unbeaten 20 to lead Strathfieldsaye Blue (7-119) to a 10-run win over BUCC (6-109).
Kangaroo Flat (2-124) had five players score in double figures as it chased down Strathdale’s total of 7-114.
Malachy Lahtz (17), Seb Collins (16) and Patrick Lahtz (14 and 2-13) were best for the Roos.
Two fours in the final over from Blake McConnell (11 not out) lifted White Hills (9-107) to a thrilling win over Eaglehawk (5-101). Liam Monaghan made 22 not out for the Demons and Dylan Fell made 15. Tom Calverly, Baily Coombs and Morgan House took two wickets each for the Hawks.
Campbell Tangey (20 not out), Harry Fitzgerald (20 not out), Jasper Cheesman (20 not out) and Charlie Edwards (19 not out) led Strathfieldsaye Gold (8-132) to a good win over Bendigo United White (4-94).
Henry Edwards (20 not out) and Isaac Willits (18 not out) were best with the bat for the Redbacks.
Maiden Gully (6-118) scored a well-deserved win over Sandhurst (4-106).
Caelan Berry (21 not out), Toby Costigan (20 not out) and Bradman Thompson (20 not out) led the charge for Maiden Gully. Charlie Whitsed (21 not out) and Riley Henderson (20 not out) batted well for Sandhurst.
