The Walruses (118) squared their ledger at 7-7 with a 35-run victory over Elmore (83) in round 14 on Saturday.
The victory was the third in a row for the rejuvenated Walruses, during which they have propelled from last to fourth.
Colbinabbin (6-101) extended its lead at the top of the ladder with a 15-run win over Calivil (86) in the clash of last season’s grand finalists.
Heathcote (132) moved off the bottom of the ladder with a 17-run victory over Dingee (115).
And 109 from Marc Sherwell led Bagshot (6-191) to a comfortable 71-run triumph over Raywood (120).
