Groom: Clinton Myran
Date: August 29
The meeting: Via a mutual friend over Facebook and we hit it off from there.
The proposal: Clinton proposed over my lunch break while we were at the Chinese Gardens and making a wish in the temple. Then I had to go back to work afterwards.
The wedding day: We got married on Magnetic Island at Picnic Bay mid-Saturday afternoon. We had our ceremony on a nice grass area with the beach behind us and palm trees around. We had photos there then headed on the ferry back to Jupiter's Casino in Townsville for the reception. My bridal party consisted of Melissa Wellard (Melton), Hayley Atkin (Townsville) and Marissa Page (Townsville). Clinton's groomsmen were his three brothers Christopher, Karl & Joshua. Our flowergirls were our two nieces Mia and Everlette. Our day was very relaxed and laid back and we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
The dress: My dress was an Alfred Angelo design from Bendigo Bridal in King St. It was very plain with French lace over the dress and for my train with a lace-up back.
The cake: Our cake was made by a family member in Cairns who did three tiers of chocolate mud and we had an aboriginal artist design the dot painting.
The photographer: Our photographer was Alex and Jess of Wild Rhino Photography Bendigo.
The honeymoon: Our honeymoon was a road trip driving back down the coast from Townsville to Bendigo.
