The Bendigo Community Health Service’s picnic, which is held annually, gives families and educators the chance to unwind after a long year.
Children were entertained through a variety of fun activities, including a selection of rides, but the undoubted highlight was a visit from Santa.
Bendigo Family Day Care co-ordinator Tamarra Tie said: "Today is about getting families and educators out with their children within a family day care environment and to celebrate 35 years of day care in Bendigo.”
Early years manager Terrie Killen said the day was about letting the children’s imaginations run wild as the year draws to a close.
