Inspector Libby Murphy said police ran operations inside and outside the festival over five days, focusing on crowd and road safety.
The festival was held on 1500 acres about 80km south-east of Bendigo and ran from Thursday, November 26, to Monday, November 30.
“The presence of drugs amongst festival goers is really concerning,” Inspector Murphy said.
“I’m amazed that people are willingly gambling with their lives by taking these dangerous substances.
“We’re aware that some people had to be taken to hospital over the weekend because of drug use.
“At the end of the day, as a user, you really have no idea what you are putting in your body, and you have no idea what it will do to you.”
Over the five days, there were:
- 28 traffic offences
- 11 drug drivers
- 12 people cautioned for possession of cannabis
- 2 drug diversion notices
- 1 arrested for assault
Police are also investigating:
- 1 report of car theft
- 1 report of robbery (approximately $2,500)
- 4 reports of theft
- 1 report of deception
