EAGLEHAWK: The accidental flick of the high beams resulted in a road rage incident in Ironbark at 10.30pm last night.
A car with several passengers was leaving a car wash on Eaglehawk Road, Ironbark, when the driver flashed its headlights briefly.
The car was behind a maroon VX Holden Commodore, also leaving the car wash.
When the two cars got to a red light further along the road, the driver of the Commodore pulled up in the bike lane, alongside the car.
The driver of the Commodore got out and started abusing the occupants of the car, attempted to pull down the window and then punched the window.
He caused $200 damage to the car.
Police enquiries are continuing.
BENDIGO: A woman was targeted in a random assault on Mitchell Street in the Bendigo CBD on November 23.
At 3.25pm, the woman was walking towards Bath Lane when an oncoming woman veered towards her and struck her to the jaw, causing her to stumble onto the road.
She was punched for a second time, with the attacker shouting “you asked for it b****”.
The woman did not require treatment for her injuries.
The female attacker had a shaved head, was wearing a red zip-up hoodie and red tartan pants.
She was unknown to the victim.
GOLDEN SQUARE: The occupant of a house on Symonds Street, Golden Square, arrived back from a holiday to find their airconditioner missing.
The owner was away from the house from November 1 to 30, when the unit was taken from a front window.
It was valued at $200.
KANGAROO FLAT: Eight windows were smashed on a unit in Bank Street, Kangaroo Flat, on the night of November 26.
Five unknown males, believed to be intoxicated, approached the house and started smashing the windows between 11.30pm and midnight.
The house was occupied by a number of males.
KANGAROO FLAT: A bottle of Jim Beam was stolen from the Kangaroo Flat Liquorland, valued at $59.
A woman in a red top was captured on CCTV cameras placing the bottle in her handbag, before leaving the store at 4.10pm yesterday.
She was accompanied by a man in a black singlet, black shorts and a black cap.
KANGAROO FLAT: A Gucci handbag was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the driveway of a house on Eron Street, Kangaroo Flat, overnight on November 29.
The owner went to take her children to school on November 30 when she noticed the handbag and a small amount of cash taken from the car.
SPRING GULLY: A box trailer was stolen from the back of a house on Spring Gully Road, Spring Gully, between November 22 and 27.
Left near the back fence behind some trees, the Victor 8m x 6m grey box trailer, with registration R98 306, was removed from the yard.
It was valued at $900.
EPSOM: A set of number plates was stolen from a car parked in the Epsom Railway Station.
The car – with registration XZL 442 – was parked at the station from 8.30am on November 27, to 10.30am on November 28.
FLORA HILL: A mountain bike was stolen from the car port of a house on Ellis Street, Flora Hill, overnight on November 26.
The Giant brand 27 inch bike – valued at $800 – was stolen between 7pm on November 26 and 7am on November 27.
BENDIGO: Garden pots and ornaments were stolen from behind a house on Honeysuckle Street, Bendigo, early last week.
The occupant was in the process of moving house.
The theft occurred between 9am on November 24 and 5pm on November 25.
The items were valued at $260.
