Trees were blown over at Cambells Creek with and onto power lines at Chapmans Road.
A Powercor spokesperson said the line was unbroken and no homes were without power.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning to residents across central Victoria.
Bendigo and Maryborough, as well as Mildura, Horsham, Warrnambool, Ballarat, Seymour, Geelong and Melbourne, could be hit by the storm.
The State Emergency Service is urging residents to follow some simple guidelines to stay safe during the storm, including:
Keep clear of fallen power lines
Secure any loose objects in the vicinity of your home
Stay indoors if possible
Avoid using the phone during the storm
If you are outside, avoid sheltering under trees
Listen to the radio for storm updates
Switch off your computer and electrical appliances
