Chasing Bendigo United’s imposing total of 3-228, Bendigo finished 9-228 off its 50 overs.
Lachlan Priest top scored for the Goers with 57, while Ethan Hobson (52), Kayle Thompson (44) and Drew Harris (30) all batted well.
For the Redbacks, Fraser Gentry followed up his unbeaten 78 with the bat by taking a match saving 3-13 with the ball.
Half-centuries from Nathan McHugh (75 not out) and Darcy Poulter (69 not out) led Kangaroo Flat (6-264) to a comfortable win over Strathdale-Maristians Blue (100).
Charlie Robinson (3-42) was the best with the ball for the Suns.
Eaglehawk’s bowlers did the job against White Hills.
Defending 8-133, the Hawks bowled the Demons out for 91. Corey Holland and Jack Thompson took three wickets each for the Borough, while Jack Towers continued his good form with the bat by making 36 for White Hills.
Eli Flood claimed 6-22 to lead Golden Square (208) to a comfortable win over Maiden Gully (116).
Jeremy Ford with 64 was the only Maiden Gully batsman to reach double figures.
Strathfieldsaye (100) scored a hard-fought 11-run win over Strathdale-Maristians Orange (89).
Limendra Ferando (3-6), Matt Gallagher (2-11) and Seamus Dwyer (2-7) led the way for the Jets.
The highlight of under-14A action was Strathfieldsaye’s eight-run win over Strathdale-Maristians Orange.
Matthew Johnston (37 not out and 3-5), Kane Cheesman (24 not out) and Mitch Roberts (20 not out) did the job for the Jets (7-165).
Strathdale was bowled out for 157, with Noah Walsh (30 not out) and Will Francis (22) the best with the bat.
Eaglehawk (5-135) outclassed White Hills (68). Mitch Graham (23) and Chris Cox (23 not out) were the leading run scorers for Eaglehawk.
Golden Square (7-274) continued its dominant form by thumping Maiden Gully (54).
Caleb Flood (47), Luke Salvador (29), Tom Campbell (26 not out), Ben Derrick (26 not out) and Harry Moore (22 and 2-2) impressed for the Dogs.
Joel Bothe smashed an unbeaten 53 to lead Bendigo (4-238) to victory over Bendigo United (80).
Peter Shearman (29 not out) and Caydn Thompson (24 not out) also batted well, while Thomas Martin claimed 3-7.
Bradman Constable (26 not out) was best for the Redbacks.
Strathdale-Maristians Blue (8-198) proved too strong for Kangaroo Flat (7-82).
For Strathdale, Sam Conforti (34 not out), Joseph Fiske-Kealy (22), Will Purcell (22 not out) and Wil Tuohey (20 not out) batted well, while Liam Nihill, Matt Wilkinson and Cooper Smith took two wickets each.
In the under-12A competition, an unbeaten 22 from Brodie Coombs led Eaglehawk (1-106) to a seven-run win over Bendigo United Red (3-99). Lewis Fisher (15 not out) was the best performer for the Redbacks.
Liam Monaghan made 21 not out to spearhead to White Hills (2-108) to a 21-run win over Sandhurst (6-87). Eli Pearce took 2-3 for the Demons, while Charlie Whitsed (20 not out) and Tyler Howard (17 not out) impressed for Sandhurst.
Strathfieldsaye Gold (3-112) proved too strong for Maiden Gully 4-52.
Jasper Cheesman (16 not out) and Luke Rodda (15 not out) were best with the bat for the Jets and Riley Power claimed 2-4.
Kangaroo Flat made 7-147 to reel in Bendigo United White’s 4-105.
Thomas Dillon and Sebastian Collins made 20 not out each for the Roos, while Will Pinniger scored 20 not out for the Redbacks.
Bendigo United’s Tobie Travaglia (2-3) was the only multiple wicket-taker for the game.
In the final game, Strathfieldsaye Blue (7-90) defeated Strathdale-Maristians (5-73). Jacob Floyd made 15 not out for the Suns.
