Campaspe to elect new councillor at February by-election

A BY-ELECTION will be held in Campaspe Shire’s Western Ward on February 20 to find a replacement for Greg Toll, who resigned from the council on November 22. Voting for Mr Toll’s successor in the single-councillor ward will be done by post,  Shire of Campaspe CEO Jason Russell said. The Victorian Electoral Commission will accept nominations from January 14 to 19. Ballot packs will be mailed to residents from February 2 to 4. Mr Russell urged residents with “a passion for community issues” to run for council.
