BENDIGO TAFE has no case to answer following complaints made about two of its programs, says the institute’s interim chief executive officer, Amanda Brook.

“We have received clearance from ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) that there is no complaint to account for,” she said.
“Separately, we’ve done a thorough investigation ourselves … and we’re confident that there’s no issue.”
The TAFE had also completed an ASQA compliance audit and been re-registered for another seven years, Ms Brook said.
“There’s been an enormous public awareness of the quality issues that have come from dodgy private provider. It’s been challenging to be lumped in the same bucket.”
An ASQA spokesman said the complaints had been finalised but would not elaborate. In October, the Bendigo Advertiser reported the complaint related to the Certificate IV Community Services and Diploma of Community Services programs.
