“Actually it’s going to be really sad because I really love BSE because it’s just an amazing experience and I’ve been given so many opportunities and it’s really been awesome,” Leonie said.
For Jess, the thing she would miss most would be the friendships.
“[Everyone’s] so nice and kind and it’s a great environment just to strive for your best,” she said.
But the girls said they were also looking forward to the increased independence and new friendships that await at Bendigo Senior Secondary College next year.
“Here we have to do a lot of subjects, all of us as a whole school, but over there we can do what we want and I'm excited to do something I'm interested in,” Jess said.
Both girls were excited to pursue their interest in the arts through subjects like fashion and photography.
