The deeply personal and intimate exhibition is "grounded in principles of experiential art” she said. "It is beautifully meditative. Its carefully composed visuals and audio combine to quickly impact the viewer. Lang noted that the contemplative nature of Martin’s work reminded her of a recent comment by performance artist Marina Abromovic: “Our life is so fast. You have to make art slow. Your heart slows down, your thinking process slows down, it brings you into a different cosmos”.
