The event is being held as part of Responsible Gambling Awareness Week.
Guerra – a former Bendigo Pioneer who played 255 AFL games with Port Adelaide, St Kilda and Hawthorn – revealed earlier this year how problems with gambling had cost him $400,000 over four years.
Guerra hasn’t had a bet since January and now wants to use his story to speak about the importance of gambling responsibly.
Lisa Simpson from Responsible Gambling will also speak at the function, which will be held from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Tickets are $10 and includes nibbles and drinks on arrival.
RSVP to Amy Kenyon at amy.kenyon@aflcentralvic.com.au or 5434 2400.
