A coup signing for Australia's Orica-GreenEDGE four years ago, multiple world title holder Cameron Meyer has found a new home in South African outfit MTN-Qhubeka.

The development comes just eight months after Meyer, 28 in January, won the second stage race of his career, this year's Herald-Sun Tour.
Big things were expected of the highly professional talent — an outstanding track cyclist with six senior rainbow world title jerseys to show for it — when he made the transition from the boards to road cycling's elite ranks in 2009.
Meyer won the 2011 Tour Down Under — his first stage race victory — before GreenEDGE snared the homegrown talent from US-based Garmin-Slipstream.
His achievements since joining the Gerry Ryan owned team that now races as Orica-GreenEDGE are headed by an individual stage victories in the Tour de Suisse (2013 and 2014), team time trial stage wins in the Tour de France (2013) and Giro d'Italia (2013) and a national criterium title (2013).
Meyer, a West Australian, signed a fresh two-year deal with Orica-GreenEDGE in the middle of 2013. But the team that last week announced it had recruited 2015 Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana stage winner Ruben Plaza, 35, has re-prioritised and is now building around the likes of British twins Adam and Simon Yates, Colombian Esteban Chaves and anointed Australian star of the future, Caleb Ewan.
"They have had unbelievable results at the biggest races and are moving ahead quickly," Meyer said on Tuesday about his new team.
"My main motivation for joining…was not only the pride I would feel being an ambassador on the bike but also the pride of involvement in the successful work for the Qhubeka charity."
