KANGAROO FLAT: A car owner has had their car spray painted while it was sitting in their drive way in Kangaroo Flat.
Someone spray painted the white Holden Captiva with orange paint on its rear bumper some time between 6pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday.
QUARRY HILL: A boys 24 inch Trek hybrid bike was stolen from the family’s back yard between 8am on Saturday and 12pm on Monday.
The $450 bike was taken from near the back door of the Carpenter Street home.
RAVENSWOOD SOUTH: A person attempted to break into a work shed at a Redgum Valley Road property in Ravenswood South at the weekend.
Someone tried to enter a work shed on the site, they damaged the door but could not get in.
The person then attempted to remove a panel of the shed but was unsuccessful.
Police said the victim had previously been subject to this kind of crime and had installed cameras and improved security to the shed.
BENDIGO: Bendigo Police are urging people to be more careful when leaving their vehicles in public.
Leading Senior Constable Marg Fitzpatrick said more and more vehicles are being left unlocked with valuables on display.
“People are stealing handbags, wallets, mobile phone, just anything,” she said.
“It’s not only when the vehicle is locked that things are getting stolen.”
