City of Greater Bendigo is waiving its usual fees in a bid to encourage residents to clear their properties ahead of the bushfire season. Mayor Peter Cox said: “Residents who continually make the time to keep their properties clear of vegetation will help minimise fire risk.”
The fee-free days will be held on October 24 and 25 and November 21 and 22.
