Two information sessions will be held in Bendigo next week to give locals the opportunity to have their say on the project.
The first session will be held on October 14 between 3.30pm and 7pm at Weeroona College, and the second session on October 15 between 3.30pm and 7pm at the White Hills Bowling Club.
The Andrews government has pledged $600,000 to plan for increasing the number of lanes from two to four in a bid to improve traffic flow to the growing north Bendigo region.
Bendigo East MP Jacinta Allan said ideas raised at the sessions would help to inform the project’s designs.
“I encourage people to get along and have their say on the future of Napier Street,” she said.
“Napier Street is a critical connection to Bendigo’s growing north, which is why we are investing $600,000 in detailed planning for it to be widened.”
