BENDIGO: Bendigo Police are urging people to be more careful when leaving their vehicles in public after a spate of thefts from motor vehicles.
Leading Senior Constable Marg Fitzpatrick said more and more vehicles were being left unlocked with valuables on display.
“People are stealing handbags, wallets, mobile phone, just anything,” she said.
“It’s not only when the vehicle is locked that things are getting stolen.”
