Bridgewater win LVFL flag

Bridgewater has captured a third-straight Loddon Valley Football League premiership after beating Newbridge by 65 points today.

The Mean Machine won 21.12 (138) to 10.13 (73) to claim a premiership hat-trick for the first time in its history.

Bridgewater was never headed, leading by 28 points at quarter-time, 31 at half-time and 65 at the final change.

Mean Machine forward-ruckman Taylor Strachan won the VCFL Medal for best on ground, while full-forward Brad Rohde kicked five goals.

Grant Ford was Newbridge's best player.
