On the track a quality 12-race card will get underway at 3.32pm with some competitive races drawn.
One such competitive race is race 11, where four consistent sprinters will face the starter.
No Jockey Need in box one was runner-up at Bendigo two runs back in solid time, Disco Diamond is a last start 22.03 Warrnambool winner, Cosmic Ketut has a win and four placings at Shepparton in his past five starts, and Duomo Bale has scored two smart wins in his past five outings.
Brilliant box manners is likely to give Duomo Bale the edge over his rivals and if he can repeat his 24.87 Sale win and 25.74 Geelong win, he will take plenty of beating.
The final event looms as a clash of two youngsters with imposing records in their short careers.
Ido Voodoo has won four times and placed twice form his six career starts and has drawn box one, while Allen Yeller, a three time winner and twice placed in five outings, has drawn box eight.
Both greyhounds have impressed from the opposite draws to what they have Friday afternoon and the victor will be the one who handles the change best.
Ido Vodoo has the added benefit of having already raced at Bendigo when he scored a 24.17 win.
On the other side, Allen Yeller posted a slick 22.54 at Geelong two runs back.
The standout runner on the card is race five, number one Bastet Bale.
After saluting at Geelong in sub 26 seconds, she was an unlucky third at Horsham last time out, but the inside draw and racing her own sex should see Bastet Bale find a forward position early and prove too strong.
