Wildlife Victoria are calling for the public’s help tracking down a kangaroo who was earlier shot in the head with an arrow.
“This eastern grey kangaroo was reported to our Emergency Response Service this morning in Ashbourne with an arrow clearly lodged in the back of its head,” Wildlife Victoria’s Facebook page reads.
“It's fully mobile and our volunteers have unfortunately lost sight of it.
“Report sightings to us quoting case #206046”

Kyneton Sergeant Mark Bell confirmed police have attended a property in Ashbourne after a kangaroo was located with an arrow in its head.
Wildlife Victoria are responding.
“Police are hopeful they will be able to trace who did it by the arrow,” he said.
There will be an investigation into the incident.
