The Royals and Bulls will clash in the cut-throat first semi-final at St Arnaud’s Lord Nelson Park.
Donald has been the big improver in the NCFL this season, with the Royals finishing fourth on the ladder with a 10-6 record after going through last year winless.
The Royals have already had one win this week, with coach Luke Fisher crowned the 2015 Feeny medallist.
Birchip-Watchem goes into the game on its best winning streak for the season of four wins in a row.
The Bulls – who were also 10-6 in the home and away season – had the bye last week, giving the side a chance to freshen up ahead of the finals.
