Foundation player Andrea Wilson has committed to the club for another year. 

The 29-year-old said she was looking forward to again joining sister Kelly at the Spirit. 

“I am really excited to be back on board again this season,” she said. 

“I am also excited with the direction the club is taking and what it will mean for my basketball and for the team. 

“I really enjoy working with the girls and Simon and Walshy have been brilliant so far.” 

The smooth shooter has played 50 games with the Spirit, with 15 of those coming in 2009-10. 

Coach Simon Pritchard said Wilson’s experience will be vital to the team. 

“Her and Jane Chalmers are quintessential team players,” he said. “Andrea is as professional as they come and will take on any role we give her with enthusiasm and determination.”

The Spirit’s season starts on October 9.
