The Danny Curran-trained filly finished fourth to Petits Filous in the opening event on the day, but then on pulling up crashed through the running rail.
“She didn’t handle Moonee Valley at all,’’ Curran said on Sunday. “She never got her action right… she never let go.
“She was pulling up normally, but then she must have had a sharp pain and she went into a buck and then accelerated through the rail.
“She’s sore today, but probably not as sore as what I thought she’d be.
“The spring plans have to be aborted. The horse is too valuable… we’ve been patient with her and we’ll continue to be.
“There’s good races for her next year and the year after that.
“It’s disappointing, but the sun will come up tomorrow and we’ll push on.”
