The Lady Braves play conference premiership favourites Kilsyth and Hobart on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon respectively. Fresh from four-straight wins, the fifth-placed Lady Braves are making a strong push towards the play-offs and a possible home first semi-final clash with Launceston.
To be rated a genuine title contender, the Lady Braves need to get at least one win against the SEABL powers.
The clash against Kilsyth in Melbourne on Saturday night will be the tougher of the two games.
The Cobras humiliated the Lady Braves in round five, winning by 32 points. That night the Lady Braves trailed by just four points at the main break before being blown away in the third quarter.
The Lady Braves and Hobart met in Tasmania a fortnight ago, with Bendigo winning a thriller by two points.
The Lady Braves will be looking for guard Kerryn Harrington to continue the form that earned her last week’s SEABL women’s player of the week award.
Sunday’s game at Bendigo Stadium starts at noon.
