A CASTLEMAINE man who threatened to kill V/Line staff has been sentenced to eight months imprisonment and a 12 month community corrections order.
Robert Dutton, 35, made the threats aboard a packed service from Bendigo to Castlemaine June 22.
He was convicted on Wednesday in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court of making threats to kill; making threats to inflict serious injury; recklessly causing injury; unlawful assault; criminal damage; assaulting police and using threatening words.
