Bendigo’s first leg of the Tasmanian double tipped off with a 22-point win on Hobart’s court on Friday night.
The momentum rolled on in the opening quarter against Thunder at Ulverstone.
Bendigo led 35-30 at quarter-time.
From there it was North West Tasmania which took complete control.
Thunder won the next three quarters – 27-13, 28-12 and 30-13 – to complete a 115-73 victory.
The Braves battled to lessen the impact that Fred Hunter, 25 points; Garrett Jackson, 23; and Mason Bragg, 19, had on the match.
Leading scorers for Bendigo were Grant Johnson and Josh Wilcher, 13; Michael Vigor, 12; Tony Lewis, 11; and Jordan Vandenberg 10.
The Ben Harvey-coached Braves are at home next Saturday to play Canberra.
