The lead changed several times in the men’s final between Echuca and Shepparton Youth Club.
Echuca forward Chris Mathews struck the ninth goal of the contest in the 30th minute of the second half to clinch a 5-4 victory.
Echuca goalie Xavier Fuller and SYC goalie Caleb Ellemor both deserved best on grounds votes as they were peppered by challenges from seven goalscorers.
Echuca’s goalscorers were Chris Mathews 2, Jayden Gulson, Liam Curson, and Hugh Berryman.
Goals for SYC were scored by Matt Irwin 2, Ryan McKenzie and Michael Neilsen.
