The Bureau of Meteorology is advising frosts with temperatures down to -2 degrees are forecast for parts of the northern country and north east forecast districts.
Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies, the warning reads.
Today’s forecast for Bendigo is cloudy with a high (70%) chance of showers, most likely during the morning and afternoon. Bendigo is headed for a top of 10 degrees, Echuca 12, Maryborough 10, Kyneton 8, Redesdale 10, Castlemaine 9.
