Sawyer and his Demons’ team-mates will have home-ground advantage as they tackle the Bloods at Tint-a-Car Oval in the season’s 12th round.
The Demons will be keen to build on the momentum from last Saturday’s four-point win at Huntly.
“It was a massive win for the club,” Sawyer said on Friday.
The Shaun Makepeace-coached Demons fought from a five-goal deficit at half-time to win 77-73 as Sawyer kicked a match-high five goals.
The win gave the fifth-placed Demons an eight-point break on Mount Pleasant in the race to the finals.
Sawyer first played for White Hills seniors in 1999.
His run to game 200 has included two seasons where the Demons were runner-up and three club best and fairest awards.
“To play 200 games means a lot,” Sawyer said.
“It’s a club I love. A lot of my best mates are at White Hills, and there’s been a lot of great memories.”
In Saturday’s other HDFL matches, North Bendigo tackles Huntly at Superior Roofing Oval.
The ladder-leading Leitchville-Gunbower is at home against the LBU Cats, and Mount Pleasant plays Colbinabbin at Toolleen.
