Bendigo Police Sergeant Peter Dyer said one man was driving a red station wagon om Edwards Road when he failed to give way at the Calder Highway, colliding with a ute travelling west on the highway.
Both drivers were uninjured, Sergeant Dyer said.
The driver of the red station wagon will be issued an infringement notice for failing to give way.
The intersection has a history of collisions.
