Spring Gully-based Watson reached the 18-and-under boys singles semi-finals after a 6-2 6-1 win against No.2 seed Luke Cancar.
Seeded at eight, Watson will face Joshua Charlton for a place in the final at the Nolan Street complex.
The 18-under-singles final will be contested by No.1 seed Bianca Deed and No.4 seed Alessia Roso.
Number one seed in the AMT men’s singles, Daniel Guccione is in the semis.
Top two seeds Katherine Westbury and Katerina Valos continued their run toward the AMT women’s singles final.
