The tram is bursting with an explosion of crochet colour and patterns after it was yarn bombed by a group of local needling ninjas.
It is the second time the tram has been transformed.
Bendigo Tramways tour guide Emily Penhall said the crochet artwork gave the tram character.
"It's bright, there are lots of colours and it gives the tram some character," she said.
"It's a good way to brighten up the city this winter. It gets a good reaction from people who ride on the tram.”
Many of the tram drivers and conductors get into the crochet spirit by donning brightly-coloured ponchos and hats, Ms Penhall said.
The tram will be roaming the streets during winter.
The Sheep and Wool Show is on July 19, 20 and 21.
