Ryan, who plays A-grade for Golden Square in the Bendigo Football Netball League, was outstanding in the circle for the Ballarat Sovereigns throughout the state league competition.
She polled votes in 17 matches to finish just three behind the winner and her efforts helped the Sovereigns reach the preliminary final, which they lost to the Geelong Cougars.
At their own awards night last Friday, the Bendigo teenager streeted the field to easily take out the VNL club’s 19-under MVP trophy.
Sandhurst defender Elley Lawton was named co-MVP for the Sovereigns’ 19-under development team.
